​​Shihan Bill Spinney currently holds his 6th degree Black Belt in Kempo Karate, giving him the title of Master. He has been studying Martial Arts for over 30 years.  He earned his 1st degree Black Belt in 1991 thru the Fred Villari’s Systems.  Shihan Bill continued his training in Nashua, NH under the instruction of Grandmaster Bobby LaMattina.  He has also studied Aikido and Ju-Jitsu.

Strikeback Dynamic Defense Systems was established in 2000.  Shihan Bill Spinney wanted to bring a quality Martial Arts training school to the town of Merrimack.

Currently Shihan Bill instructs the Black Belt classes, weapons training and head instructor for all under-rank classes. He also does private training tailored to each individual and their goals.

​​Sensei Lisa Spinney currently holds the rank of 3rd degree Black Belt in Kempo Karate. She has been studying Martial Arts for 20 years.  She started her training at the Tokyo Joe's in Merrimack, NH under Shihan Bill Spinney's instruction. Sensei Lisa began teaching cardio kickboxing at the Ultimate Gym in Merrimack and at Tokyo Joe's in Nashua.

In 2000, Sensei Lisa and Shihan Bill decided to open Strikeback Dynamic Defense Systems. For Sensei Lisa, the goal of this school is to teach women and children to not only defend themselves but to empower themselves.  It is also very important that Strikeback be a family-friendly dojo, where everyone feels welcome.

Currently Sensei Lisa teaches cardio kickboxing and Kempo Karate. She also privately trains several clients, customizing the workouts to their specific goals.
